Responding to a particular arrangement of pixels on a screen
As you no longer remember the layout, the shape of the other face
And choose not to respond to certain heartfelt words that can be easily erased
As you do not say the things you wish I would respond to
As you say you miss me
And mull over my non-usage of a certain four-letter word even as a complimentary closing
In this space where one can be who one wishes to be
Where I can
Emulate, Fabricate

have I become real yet?
